Load securing rings/tie downs

Post by shjwilliams »

Hi, does any one know where I can get the OEM tie downs which come with the 2011 VW Caddy Maxi?

I can't seem to find them online any where.

here is an image: (I'm not sure I have attached it correctly).

Thanks in advance for your help.

Lashing eyes - VW part number 2K5801984. Try your local VW dealership or TPS. You might be lucky to find some on ebay.

Ahh Thank you very much.

Slightly unrelated, I'm about to put some ply flooring down (9mm) and I've realised that I've ordered it with the holes cut out for the tie downs. Having read a few other members methods for flooring, it seems that I should have probably not got the one with holes, as I could have just secured the flooring by bolting the tie downs on top of the floor with longer bolts. Does any one know a work around for this? Or should I just accept it and do the wooden baton method now?

The benefit there is it makes it harder to kneel on them if they're recessed into the ply.
Sorry chaps, much as our 2k looks nice, I prefer my Mk2. ;)
