Retrofitting maxi rear seats
Hi guys,
Just bought a double rear seat off of a caddy maxi and was wondering if anyone had any photos of the same seats fitted in there own van as well as any advice or instructions for fitting including seat belts ect. I have noticed that the seats i have just bought seem to sit high on two stilts on each side of the bench making them to high to be used with the hidden foot well. I will post some photos to better explain what i mean tomorow when i get a chance. I would be really grateful for any help.
Cheers Craig

Yeah it looks like i do! Went to the local VW commercial centre to have a look and the technician at the dealership reckons its imposable to get them fitted to a standard where they will pass a crash test. He also said that all the drill holes already set into the van are irrelevant as they are not supposed to fit towards the front of the cargo area. Think I'm gonna have a rethink! But good luck with your project!

Hi Brycie,
I'm new to this forum and still finding my way around. I've not got all my permissions from Doc yet. How do I find your seat fitting thread? I have the three seater from a maxi life to put in over the holidays. All the tips, pointers and photos I can look at are appreciated. Gotta get my parts last sorted next week before things shut down.
Cheers, B
