The cheaper one sounds like an eco4 model.
Means the tax bracket for it is cheaper.

What years are they both?

Going to look at the cheaper tax one. Is it a better engine or the same engine.

Same engine same emmisions but tax is cheaper on older vans because they changes prices. Your right doesn't make sense and not fair lol

As stated above, the euro4 was only given cheap tax for a certain period.

The cheap tax then changed to euro5 engined vans registered after 01/01/09 onwards. I would have thought a 1.6 should fall into this category :?:

Does that mean that some don't meet euro4 regulations then? Mines a 54 reg and costs £220 a year. The stupid thing is I also have a 56 reg 2.5tdi crafter and that's only £135 a year!

wow that's harsh. still rather a t5 then a range rover anyway.
why is it so much? it cant be emissions as the 2.5 is not that bad for emissions compared to other 2.5 tdi's on the market. our old t4 2.5 tdi was much cheaper.

I had an 05 and that was £210 a year while others paid £135 there is no logical explanation behing the euro 4 labelling
