Alltypes hit and run incident

Post by chezzy71 »

Hi all, as some of you are aware my nephew was involved in a hit and run during the Sunday of all types,
The incident happened in the day visitors car park where nick my nephew was knocked down Trying to stop a golf leaving the car park,
The occupants where caught thieving from cars on the car park and once approached drove off at speed knocking nick and dan his mate over, both lads got to the exit and did what they could to stop the car leaving, but the grey Volkswagen golf reg ML05BKG got away,,, Nick and dan are both ok but are keen to trace this car and driver....

This reg has been put on various forums and now flags up on google, ( for more info ) type the reg in google and read other people's accounts on what they saw... might also be worth a read

Thank you for any help in advance

Anthony, nick, and dan,

Hope they're both ok but would it not be better to go the police?
Especially if they've been run over?

Just a lil up date rang the organiser of all types And asked for there liability insurance details, I said A vehicle on there site under there supervision knocked me down and drove away at speed with various witnesses including members of ther staff who gave statements to the police... The out come of this was told its nothing to do with them because its a public car park so I also asked why was it man'd by there staff then . And ther exact words out of the guy mouth on the phone was " were not interested ! .

Sorry to hear what's gone on bud !! But after that unprofessional statement I personally would go and see the citizens advice, tell them the craic and go from there. Sounds like the geezer you spoke to is about on the same level as the pondlife b*****ds that drove off !!!! Good luck with any positive results.

If they were charging people into the carpark where this happened then they are bound to be responsible for any incident inside the paid area????
I'd be going after the land owner and let them sort it out with whoever they think is liable.

yep im with you on this mate , if your paying to get in to a car park , an the hi viz hero's are in attendance then surly they must have a insurance of some sort ,, don't you have to have it ?.
contact the local council an as for the events section , they will let you know who there insurance is with , but I tought the police would tell you ,? its your rite to have the info so the police should get it for you.
if it aint broke an it dont need fixing , then its time to make it go faster .

Unfortunately stealing from car parks happens at shows. I was at a jap show yrs ago and this chap came out to find his Subaru on bricks with no wheels, brakes, lights, stereo, bumpers and engine parts. That was hard to believe untill I came out to check my car and I saw it with own eyes! F***ing w***ers.
I hope the lads didn't get too hurt.
When does this ever stop!!

There's a bad element creeping into the VW/Audi Scene, noticed it about here with some wallies who used to fly about in Corsa's now in Golf MKIV's as prices are low, also noticed it at e38 with some folk walking about and handling some cars
cheers Paul
