Hi all,
Looking around for a caddy at the moment and noticed a huge difference in price between a tdi and an sdi. Now if anything like a golf, the sdi will be painfully slow, but! If I got an sdi to start with, how suitable would it be for a tdi swap later on? In particular thinking 140 pd from golf gttdi etc.
What conversions are best?
Many thanks
Ben

I had the same question a few weeks ago. In the end it works out cheaper to buy a tdi with a bit of bodywork needing doing than it does an sdi and do a lump swap.
I drove both and theres no comparison - the sdi is so agricultural!!
