Hi guys.
Does anyone know if your airbag blows out on your van can you just replace it do you have to replace other parts as well?

You'd only have to replace seatbelt buckles (not the belts themselves) if they had the pretensioner system and it fired. I don't think even the latest Caddy's have that system, so there is nothing to replace there.

Is it the dash airbag thats gone mate? If so I think I have one and a module.

I've never seen that Dave, only into the buckle. Where fitted, the pretensioning mechanism fires and pulls the buckle downwards, and therefore makes it very tight across your lap to stop the 'submarine' effect where you slide forwards under the belt in an extreme deceleration. I didn't think the inertia belt part had any part of that other than locking like it normally does when you pull suddenly on it.

And seem to remember someone on here hitting a pot hole and then having to replace the seatbelts

yes i have replace 100`s of seatbelts with built in inertia reels . if the front airbags have gone 99% chance the belts or the buckle will need changing too , just have a look and see it has a yellow plug atatched to it .
