I'm sure this has probably been covered somewhere before but Ive just got a new 2011 new shape 1.6tdi and it's really noisy from the rear, its all lined and the noise is defo road noise, Ive checked the tyres for run out and they are all OK so it's time to take out the ply and start putting in some noise insulation.I'll carpet line the ply and put it back in once its done
So before anyone says dynamat I just wondered if there is something out there that isnt as horribly expensive as that will cost me a small fortune to do the back of the van
Any advice appreciated
Thanks

Re: Soundproofing
Apparantly you can put loft insulation in behind the ply lining. If your taking the panels out to carpet them its not a lot of extra work.
