what wheels will fit
Hi all,
buying a new set of wheels and just need some advice, they are 225 40 r18 will i have any issues fitting these to a caddy? And will the low profile tyre give a rough ride and should i go with a smaller option? any thoughts suggestions welcome

Are you lowered. Had 18's with eibach on previous caddy and was fine with ride.

Mine is standard ride hight, on 225/40 18's, (ET45), and rides very well.

We also need to know the width of the wheel but I'm assuming with 225 tyres its an 8" wheel. I run a 19x8 wheel with an offset of 48 I think and no clearance problems.

ya the wheels are 225 40 r18 so that would be 18 x 8"
Just found out the offset is et42. Will that 5mm make any difference?

Re: what wheels will fit
The tyres are 225/40-18 not the wheels... the wheels are most likely 18x7.5 18x8 or even 18x8.5
I think ET45 is about the optimum offset

I've 225/40/18 tyres on my 7.5x18 wheels so if your guessing the wheel width from the tyre size you may be incorrect.
