Fixing bumper

Swapped my bumpers over today which what I thought would be a 1/2 hour job turned into 4 hours and still my sitting great! I whipped the old one of no problem and as I put the new one on the part that sits down by the head lights and from the headlight to the arch was bulging at the side, it's definately been taking off before as for starters there was no screws underneath and popper that sits at the top part off the arch had been destroyed, does anybody no what's my problem or who is willing to do it as I think ill out my foot through it if I try again
