VW Caddy 2012 Engine Cover?

Hi All,

My new 2012 Caddy that I've recently got as a new company vehicle doesn't have an engine cover. It's the 1.6 diesel version. It looks as though it should have a cover to it, does anyone know if it should and if so where I can get hold of one?

Mine doesn't have one either and I dont think any of the Caddys come with one from new?

Try a wrecking yard for one from a Golf or Polo i think fit?

No Caddys came with engine covers, but the little ball fittings are usually fitted. There are part numbers in the part numbers thread. From what can see, both facelift 1.6tdi and 2.0tdi can use the same cover:

03L 103 925 R

Thats from a Touran, but other VAG models fit, like Tiguans, New Beetle, CC, Eos, and Seats and Audis.

You may need a rubber o ring for the oil filler neck:

03L 133 287

You can get the covers from VW but they're not cheap - from memory they're about £105. Most people find them on ebay for about £30-60 like here:

A 2.0 litre one, yes. The 1.9s need a different cover, and the BLS engine covers are the hardest to find.

Most Caddys come with two fixing balls, you need two more, but they are cheap as chips.....03L-103-164
