Hi all sorry if it's been ask but as Iam restricted what I can read I got to ask .
My caddy as two seater on log book .
It was Gibos caddy very happy with it.
Question is
1 do I have to tell insurance
2 do I have to change on log book ?.

Yes need to do both (by the law anyway)
Dvla may ask for an engineers report on the fitting to make sure its safe and you should really tell your insurance also.

i'd imagine you should tell them, the price of insurance is based on risk, think about it, you can carry 2 people and if there was an accident the claim is based on that.... if suddenly there's 4 or 5 in the van? not only that but i would imagine fitting seats requires an official examination from vosa? none of this is based on fact so don't shoot me down but think about it, if they can get out of it they will......
