Rear interior light

I have recently brought a 2005 caddy c20 104 and I have realised it dosent have any interior lights come on when I open the rear door or side sliding door is this normal, there isnt a bulk head in so I just open the passenger door at the mo

I think on that year van, the lights were fitted on the edges of the bulkhead so must have been removed

Above the sliding door there is a light and same the other side behind the drivers seat but they only come on when front doors are open

If you have high enough level on the cecm, it can be coded to turn all interior lights on when barn doors / tailgate opens.

Looks like I'm going to have to upgrade as also want cruise control just need part numbers now thanks for the info

I don't know which level though, I changed from lowline to 30 bit highline and then the options for the lighting was there in VCDS.
