Mate had this recently on his caddy at about 90k. Was the clutched pulley that you can't seem to buy separately

I have a plate that can fix compressors where the system is ok but the compressor does not engage.
Basically the shaft is stronger than the shear plate and it wears away the teeth over time, meaning it stops biting and engaging.
I bought it and it got my compressor working again, but then the pump failed for something else so I salvaged it. Was only on a few weeks. Can fix a lot of those dodgy pumps.
