Re: RNS 510
GPS antena can be install under dasch and is working fine .
For DAB might be a difficult to get good radio reception if no genuine antenna

Re: RNS 510
Recently fitted one into mine. No issue at all fits perfectly and works perfectly like people have mentioned Nav aerial under dash perfect spot
I would be shopping around here in oz you can have them fitted and installed for around $1700-1800 AU dollars. £2175 pounds is steep you don't need a dealer to install there's many reputable shops that will do a better deal.
You should ask on this forum for suggested businesses in your area.

Re: RNS 510
I laughed my head if when I saw the price! I'm lost at what to do to be honest as it doesn't have Bluetooth. I really want all singing dancing.
Any advice or help much appreciated

Re: RNS 510
For bluetooth you will need a separate module add another cost. Also you will need new interior light if you have a basic caddy this will allow microphone installation.
Best search ebay you will find many for sale at a way cheaper price. Buy all the items yourself and ask someone on the forum to help install I'm sure someone out there would be willing to help
Once I get some time I'll post some links
Cheers.

The RNS 315 has built in Bluetooth and can get with nav and dab, that's what I've fitted with a MDI unit, easy fit dab aerial is the thing that causes most problems, I have a cheap windscreen mounted option and it's not fantastic however I don't think any are, it's more about where you live and drive on reception front !!sutton1001 wrote:Wow starting to get insanely expensive might go alpine 8" seen a nice one.

I got the seat version as its cheaper and they all have Bluetooth I believe (it's the only VW oem stereo that does have built in) not sure about the voice dialling I think that's more about your van and clocks etc
