Washer and wiper issue

Post by D4v3 »

I've got a 07 plate sdi caddy. My font wipers and washers are faulty they only work when they want to. I've cheaked the fuses. And tryed another wiper motor and it still dose the same thing. I've noticed when u pull the wiper stork towards u it didn't click like it dose when u push the stork away from u to do the rear washer / wipers. when they do want to work it dose click like it should. Any advise will be great thanks dave

Sounds like a faulty stalk.
Get someone who has VCDS and knows how to use it to check measuring blocks for signals.

I have the same van m8 and also got a problem with my wipers but my own fault van was covered in snow and I put on wipers and they stopped in mid wipe due to weight of snow anyway been searching for the fuse and been told its fuse number 31 and 30 amp but I can only see fuses up to no 30 in the fuse box next to battery can you tell me where you found your wiper fuse as I seem stumped
thanks alex
update since posting I now have my front wipers working , I found another thread on this forum saying it was Fuse 19 and it was but blown fuse was only a 10 amp ive replaced this with a 30 amp trust am doing the right thing in assuming the wrong fuse was fitted ?
