is it possible ?????

Post by Stoppani »

is it possible to remove some aftermarket security locks fitted to a van and cover up the holes so it looks as if they were never there? Im after a new caddy, after months of searching it looks as though Npower have just sold off a fleet of their 2.0tdi vans but theyve all been fitted with these awful silver locks. has anyone solved this problem before. heres a link to the vans im looking at -

I'm thinking yes, anything's possible, BUT its going to mean respraying a decent sized section to blend it in and having spoken to Reflex recently, the panels are made of very thin metal so any welding is likely to warp the panel which could mean a bit of filler too. That could mean increased cost and the chance it doesn't look all that good depending on who does it.

as above, would be cheaper than getting those panels filled and painted
