Road Tax
What year of caddy do you have and how much is you're road tax?
I've just done a DVLA search on a 54 plate and it's £110 for 6 Months, my mates 56 plate is £68.25 for 6 months and an 07 plate i got off pistonheads is £110 for 6 months. So how the hell does that work out?
So be interesting to see what you're road taxes are like and the year of you're caddy

Re: Road Tax
In Ireland its 288 euro to tax a caddy 1.9tdi for a yr (commercially) around 600 quid to Tax one privately..
Though any reged after June 08 would be under 300 quid to Tax privately (based on Co2 emissions)... Still a fecking rip off..

Re: Road Tax
Yeh that is a bit shocking!
Does it work like that here though? If the vans not taxxed through a company does it make it cheaper? Or is it just the same whether the vans personal use or work/company use?

Re: Road Tax
Well i've decided that i'm not that bothered anymore tbh, it's something we just have to pay agree to it or not
The saving in insurance alone will be enough to cover the additional cost every 6 months but it's still a rip off considering all the 06 and 56's i've checked have all been £125 for a year!

Re: Road Tax
I thought my 55 plate was gonna be £110 for 6 months tax, i never even looked at it's current tax disk and put by £110. Then i checked the tax disk and it's only £68.75, checked on the DVLA website and yup £68.75 so i'm majorly chuffed as thats me £40 better off
