Hi all. Picking my caddy (140bhp, 6sp, highline) next week. Is the Bilstein B14 lowering kit from VanStyle worth the dollar? Looking at that and 18” wheels with Michelin PilotSport 4 tyres (225/40 r18 xl). Kind of want it sorted before I get rid of my truck.

Thank you in advance.

I have KW coiliovers front (non adjustable) that are old but were refurbished by KW! I think they are great and the ride is firm but still comfortable even on a very low setting and 20” wheels. I have shortened gaz adjustable shocks to the rear with darkside ultra low shackle kit. Again brilliant!

I also fitted the STX front and rear kit very recently (made by KW) and very reasonably priced. Fitted it to my daily van again on 20” and the ride is excellent.

I have driven a friend’s caddy (Chris @CM WHEELS ltd, Northern Island) with the Vmaxx kit and I thought it was awful personally and would steer clear. In fact he later changed his Vmaxx kit for the STX. Chris at CM sells the kits now and is a real gent https://cmwheels.com/

Hi, I’m trying to contact Anthony Chesworth about the spacer blocks for the rear hangers. Anyone know the best way of getting hold of him?

Thank you in advance,

Jamie

I remember on mk old mk5 gti the kW coilovers would creak when the rubber dried out on the top mount, I found a bit of silicon spray through the hole to the top mount cured it for a few months.

The St-x are a fantastic kit by KW, we fit these and Bilstein amongst other to VW vans and while suspension is subjective, they are great.

Good luck
