Offroad look?
Got to get new tyres soon and I am currently running 16 inch stock steel wheels. I am thinking as a winter thing I may get some oem 16 inch alloys and fit some allterrain type tyres. Anybody know what size I could fit . The van is stock height and is a caddymaxi life. Cheers!

Re: Offroad look?
I had a look into this for my 4motion maxi, but couldn't find anything which seemed useful AT-wise, so I think i'm going to get a set of these for my 16" alloys and leave them on all year:

I'm thinking about putting General Grabber AT2 205 75 r15 on the stock rims. still trying to figure out if they will fit.
What did you end up doing?

I went for Goodyear Wrangler AT/SA+ 205/70R15. I don't think there are any R16 AT tyres that will work (I looked hard and didn't find any), as R16 is a fairly uncommon rim size. Also 205/75R15 will be too big, there is about 10mm clearance between the tyre and the rear inner wheel arch with the 205/70R15.

With the way UK roads are going think there will be a gap in the market for military grade caddy lift parts and 4x4 capability’s. Good luck look forward to seeing it.

How do the tyres feel on the road?anoneamus wrote: ↑Fri Mar 23, 2018 6:03 am I went for Goodyear Wrangler AT/SA+ 205/70R15. I am thinking going down your route, as go air softing every other weekend and their is a bit of off roading involved
Also I do not use the van during the week

Re: Offroad look?
They *feel* fine on the road. A little bit more body roll around fast corners, but no major difference from "normal" tyres. They are quite a bit more noisey though. So I switch back and forth between the offroad set and the 17' road set. They're great for mounting curbs, feels like you're driving a 4x4! They are *much* better on dirt than normal tyres, and so whenever I have a trip involving dirt coming up I put them on (and then they stay on for some weeks until I get tired of the noise).
