Power folding mirror questions

Post by Barbel330 »

Would anybody be able to tell me if my van has the suitable door modules to allow my new Touran mirrors to power fold please?

And the indicators in the mirrors?

Does the coding have to be done with Vagcom? My mechanic has some different software (can't remember the name) that he said he'd try. Is it likely to work or is it Vagcom only? Sorry for the daft questions but I know absolutely nothing about electrics or coding.

These are the modules. My van has pretty much every optional extra so I'm hoping these will be suitable?

Are all pins for the mirror on the doormodule there? Or are there some missing?

And normally you can check with VCDS if you can enable folding. If the driverside module accepts it, then afaik it should work on yours if you have mirror adjustment button with folding option of course.

Thanks for the reply.

I didn't think to check the pins on the module, now I've put it all back together again  :)

Okay, but you can still check with VCDS if your drivers side door module accepts it.
