If it's the same as the pre-face lift, there's a grommet through to the engine bay under the 'glove box', you just have to remove the piece of foamy sheet and pull the carpet back to access it. A technical poke with a screwdriver will allow enough room to feed a cable through.

It could be the same grommet it's mentioned above I think it's the grommet for a left hand drive bonnet cable. If you look at the left of the van where the strut top mount is look in there you will see a grommet. I removed glove box and then pushed a little wire routing rod through and got it

I had the same issue couldn't find a way through on the drivers side, the only grommet I could find went through into the arch I think, so took the metal sctttle cover off, and there is a couple of grommets there,

Did you get this sorted Liam? Im having the same issue myself and am confused where the best place to bring it in is, to wire it to the light switch.

Best place is the grommet above the pedals

I wouldn't say the grommet above the pedals is the best place, there is zero access on the engine bay side and the loom could easily be damaged by blindly forcing something through the rubber.

I was looking at the glove box side but the loom i have isnt long enough to reach to the switch so i might have to modify it a bit.

I've a spare loom I'm messing with....
This is a pic of the glovebox side grommet, usually hidden by the battery.
You can see there are "nipples" for adding extra wires

I posted some photos of how I ran two cables through the passenger side grommet.

I tried today to fit my fog light loom, but come stuck and cannot route the wires via passenger side as the loom is not that long.

I managed to poke in a grommet up above the ds bonnet hinge, I'll have another go tomorrow but surely its just as easy to use a holesaw and a matching grommet from the bay of e.

This is how I routed my cable today. Very tricky to get combi drill in there but managed it going from a 3mm bit then 5mm bit then 25mm holesaw.
