I didn't manage to get any decent pictures of the kit from the show with everyone walking about all day but the ones above are what I was going to share instead.

No need now though, cheers torque777 :D

If anyone want's any more info then please feel free to get in touch.

Like the look of this, do we get much extra travel on coilover set up? Find there is very little travel when lowered.

I think you will find that between bump stops and full droop you will get less travel than std but the point of this system is that the travel you do get can be customised to exactly where you want it

has any one got any specs of weight of this kit? Looks heavy but i suppose you are losing leaf springs to make up for it...

I think my kit is going to be the first retail kit sold. I'm just waiting for a delivery date. I think it will add a little to the unsparing weight but the much improved axel location and better damping from the more upright shocks will far outweigh any disadvantage of that.

Yeah think your right, hate the stock rear set up. Did they give you a build sheet for rear coil overs or are you going with scale coilovers?

New rear coilover suspension set up

Post by KenTDI140 »

No im having my own made to my own spec by quantum racing.
Very light weight alloy gas shocks.
They made the shocks for my rs2000 some 18 years ago
I'm running 35mm higher than steff is and want to run the shocks in as upright a position as I can so working with some measurements steff gave me I'm going to try and go for a shock that has 100mm of travel. Curently I have 55mm between the axel and the bumpstop with one section cut off and I want to stay at the same hight on the back as it matches what I've done on the front. So that should leave me with 45mm droop

Does anyone know if this kit fits also the 4Motion Caddy, at standard height, no lowrider :-).

Thanks, Patrick

Thanks, Patrick
I very much doubt the kit will fit the 4motion Caddy due to the diff, I'm sure we could have the kit made to fit the 4motion but as they're pretty rare I think it might have to be a custom / limited number kit.

Thanks

it looks very good! Only the price.... pfew..

Does it fit directly under the car? Or do you need to strip/cut some parts?

Go talk to GAZ Shocks for good dampers which will cost much less then the one used now..

If you could lower the price to approx 1250-1500gbp it would sell much more/better..
