I don’t have any wiring loom to plug them into, but the seats do have occupancy,seat belt, and side airbag plugs.

Most seats seem to be much lower than the standard Caddy seats when mounted to the caddy bases. If you mount them to Touran bases that'll raise them up higher. I have mk7 golf gti seats on my caddy bases and they're much lower than the old caddy seats which is what I wanted as I'm quite tall.

I'm always scouring fleabay for A1 seats at ta decent price. I think they look great in a caddy.

Fought of the cold and fitted them.

Ain't much lower at all.

Proper comfortable though!

All A1’s came with seat airbags. My Fiesta even had one under the steering column.

This is what I want mate as I’m tall also and find the height cramps my legs up do the mk7 gti seats fit direct onto caddy base I have 2k11 plate caddy. What about the air bag

They're definitely a lot lower. I still get back ache on long journeys but it's more to do with my bulkhead stopping the seat from going back far enough. You just need to cut off 1 lug from the seat runner and drill 2 new holes per seat in the caddy bases to fit. Half hours work.
