Yes mate, just happened again and went in to limp mode, how can this be resolved?maxx007at wrote:ECU error, it's now running in safe mode.

Re: Flashing glow plug light
I'd suggest having someone read it out with a computer, either someone with VCDS or a garage. Limp mode can have a couple of causes, so I don't know without dataMattholder20 wrote: Yes mate, just happened again and went in to limp mode, how can this be resolved?

Re: Flashing glow plug light
this happened to mine when i first got it over a year ago and it ended up being the egr valve ,
i got a new one fitted and went again recently so got it mapped out no problem since ,
cheaper to map it out than get a new egr

Re: Flashing glow plug light
flashing glow plug light can be a general fault, get it read with a simple diagnostic tool ,most common faults are faulty injector, egr valve or brake light switch(check your brake light function yourself by pressing brake pedal n see if lights come on).most common fault however is faulty fuel injector, if its this fault the injectors are expensive €300 -€400 each but don't despair because there not too difficult to fit, its a job you could do yourself, just done some yesterday so if its injector fault let me know n ill run you through the process.
