Quantum remap
I asked this but in the engine section and didn't really get an answer
I cant justify a day off work or the expense to travel hours away to get a custom map so am considering either a quantum for £250 or one by Oscarli for £300. I can't seem to find much opinion on the search regarding quantum but near £500 for a Pendle is out of my range.
Any one with a quantum and am I just over thinking it?

I'm booked in for a quantum remap on Wednesday, it's only a 2.0 SDI but hopefully i will get a few more horses out of it.

Re: Quantum remap
I had a quantum map on my golf bkd before I got into hybrid turbos and larger injectors.
Seemed a good generic map and made good power when compared to superchips and 2 others.

Re: Quantum remap
Cheers mate, I've been hoping for a positive reply to this. I can get a quantum done for £250 on my 1.6tdi which seems pretty good.

Re: Quantum remap
Had Quantum remap done today, pretty impressed with it. Much quicker and pulls really well through the gears and I don't find myself juggling between 4th and 5th all the time to keep good progress. Ok maybe not a custom map but for 250 quid!?

Re: Quantum remap
Just had a quantum remap on my 1.6 TDI today at Herts Auto Tek. They have me a courtesy car while it was being done too. Very impressed with the gains. They claim 145bhp and i must say it does feel like a vast improvement in pulling power in all gears.

Re: Quantum remap
Picking mine up this evening, looking at about 10 BHP extra (woooooooooo) should notice a difference on the SDI.

Re: Quantum remap
Well i had it done and i can say i really can tell the difference, mainly during gear change up, it just feels like it want to go, no delay at all building/picking the revs back up. Also feels and sounds a lot smoother at 70mph. Chuffed

Had a quantum map on my 1.9 TDI. Mid range is amazing and it pulls like a train!

Re: Quantum remap
You fells finding any fuel efficiency improvement after getting the van mapped? I've got a 1.6TDI 102PS. Is there any downside to them? (Apart from the cost?)
