Caddy 2016/17 part numbers

Post by liam1610 »

Hi all I'm after some information with regards to part numbers for two items on a 2016/17 Caddy.
I've been in touch with TPS in Crawley who had no idea on what's correct. I also found some of these numbers on here so they may be incorrect.

Engine under tray I have part numbers: 2k5825453 or 1K0825237AG

Bonnet sound deadening : 1T0 863 831 G or 2K0 863 831 A

Hope someone can help.

I had looked for a metal sump guard for this model with only one success

https://www.sump-guard.co.uk/volkswagen ... sump-guard" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Has anyone used them and what are there reviews.

I will have a look on etka later but get in touch with Reflex Auto Design as I think they've fitted one of their sump guards to a Caddy 4.

Also, I don't know how far away from you it is, but I use SMG Cowfold for all my parts. Give Steve a shout and mention my name and he might be kind with his prices (thats not a promise by the way, but if you use him enough like I have he starts to give you his good prices!).

The two part numbers you have seem to match what my version of etka says. The 2K5 one talks about a window van, a bluemotion and then a panel van in the descriptions and both the 1.6 and 2.0 and is a couple of pounds more expensive whereaseeeeeee the 1K0 version just says panel van and only references the 1.6. They're likely to be the same but if you talk to a proper VW parts counter like SMG, they will use your number plate or chassis number to confirm they are the right parts.

The sound absorber looks more likely to be the 2K0 one as the 1K0 version is only up until 2015 vans.

Thanks for that, it looks like both start with 2k then as mines a 2.0ltr bluemotion and panel van. I am doing my first aid training this week and it's just opposite smg cowfold so will try get some time tomorrow to go over and have a chat.
