Hallo there! i'm planning to buy bilstein b6 (part number 35-108177) for my caddy.
Bilstein recommends to mount it without bump stop; actually this shock absorber has a large stem and the old OE stop will not fit sure.
one more question:
Bilstein says nothing about the dust cover. I suspect the dust coverwill not stay on itself without the rubber bump.
Anybody can Help?
Giuseppe

Re: bilstein b6
Bilstien shocks have internal bump stops, and yes you need to reuse the dust cover it pops into the top mount by a few mm. Have you not thought about b8's ?

Re: bilstein b6
These shortened for use with lowering springs. Ignore pics usually wrong, these will be for 55mm hub cups.
