Re: Stop Start...
Strange that. I thought every car with Stop start had the switch to disable it. We have a few VW and Skoda pool cars at work and they all have it. My van was new in Feb this year so I wonder if they've now removed it from the later vans for this year or whether it's on later vans with DSG, though someone else with a 2017 DSG van says they have it. I really don't know but am certainly glad I can disable it on mine as it'd do my head in if i couldn't!

Re: Stop Start...
Forgot to turn mine off on the way home from work tonight, pulled up at some lights and the stop start kicked in, with my clutch depressed I pressed the button and hey presto the engine started and stop start was disabled for the rest of my journey. Is this common knowledge and does this work with a DSG model.

Re: Stop Start...
You should be able to permanently change the stop start settings with VCDS.
On my VW car there is a VCDS coding which reverses the switch action so that it is always off unless you switch it on. ie you may decide to switch it on stuck in a long traffic jam...
You can also set it to remember the last setting. I have my car set to the reverse action and its a lot better.
Are there any VCDS coding gurus that have the coding for a Caddy?
EDIT:
just saw this post....viewtopic.php?t=29439
