Conversion Parts List

Post by need4speed »

Need parts list to convert 06 caddy/touran to 2011-2015 spec front end.

I have searched and searched and can't seem to find a write up.

From what I can gather I need wings, bonnet, bumper, bumper reinforcing bracket, slam panel, headlights with mounting brackets.

Anything I haven't thought of? Is there something about chassis ends. And I want it from someone who knows. Not just a "..... yeah pal you need to chop the ends off....."

6 and a post in this thread https://caddy2k.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=21024

I think you also need to know the special handshake before you get a helpful answer to any of your posts. When I work out how it goes, I'll let you know
Sorry chaps, much as our 2k looks nice, I prefer my Mk2. ;)

Isn't it funny how you when you post something that someone isn't happy with you get a response straight away, but when you ask an actual question... nada....

I totally forgot about the 7 day thing.

This is not an instant chat. Of course it's easier to shout loud - but sometime searching/reading/listening is the better way.
In most forums there are several types of questions
  • very specific, but no one has the answer: try to solve it yourself an post the results.
  • specific, but the answer is already in the forum: answer could be found with "search function" and reading+reading+reading is necessary.
  • unspecific: it's hard to understand, what the matter is.

Knowledge is very special: You don't have less if you share it. 8)

Nah, you're still about 8 hours off a complete 7 days.
Maybe ask yourself why it has taken so long...
