1.6 TDI 2011 EGR proceedure

Post by petetlm »

Hi,

Yes, my EGR valve has gone to the dogs. :( Hasnt been in for the emmisions retune yet either.

How many have done the replacement themselves rather than get a garage to do it? Looks like its in a right nightmare place as well...

Absolutely why replace it with another expensive part that will eventually clog up? same with the DPF get shot of it. It's cheaper in both the long and short term. Especially the EGR you'll stop putting caked up soot back through your engine, result!

Ecu software and a blanking plate, I do alot of them. And I've done over 500 John deere tractors for the same reason.
