Post by May12345 »

Can anyone give me a link to a HID kit for my 07 caddy which won't throw up an error please.

I'm not sure such a thing exists, the electronic control for lighting on the caddy is quite sensitive and it's very difficult to falsify the load of a xenon ballast to replicate that of a halogen bulb.

My mate has them on his 08 caddy without any issue. I think he had them fitted at SAS Vehicle Wrapping in Ilford.

Just a question, what is the obsession with HID and LED bulbs,it's all people seem to ask for?

I know the stock bulbs are terrible, but I changed mine for Osram Nightbreakers and the difference is staggering,a great upgrade and plenty good enough for every day use.

I can also vouch for nightbreakers. I have them in my defender. Compared to the stock candles they were like night and day if you pardon the pun...

Interesting. Would be interested to see what they look like on your vehicle.
Did a google about them the other day. Tempted to upgrade but would prefer to see a caddy with them...

Night breakers are decent bulbs but nowhere near as bright or as good coverage from HIDS. If you go down the HID route, try get some anti-glare ones which look more factory fitted rather than dazzling everything coming towards you. HIDS4U do decent kits, not sure about bulb warning tho
