British Gas Racking in SWB

Post by LeeH »

Hi All,

I'm looking to buy a Highline SWB caddy 8-9K shortly so looking at racking options 8)

The ex BG racking looks the nuts but do you know if it can be squeezed into a SWB :?:

Thanks.

its quite modular so will be able to sort something out... could be a tight squeeze but sure you can sort something out.

Thanks, that was my thoughts too but I just wondered if anybody had actually played around with it.

The bulk of it is rivvited together so you can take bits off, in the configuration it comes out in not a chance but yes most likely once bits are removed.

What about the height? Aren't maxi's taller? Guessing the height is OK as long as you don't bother with the ladder tray?

be aware there are 2 types of racking available that I have seen. the one that came in my van can be easily separated and the piece that goes width ways across the back should fit in any caddy.
Worth noting that this won't fit height wise if you ply the floor and use the internal ladder rack.
