Reversing Camera Options Caddy4

As the title says, looking to find out what's on the market to retro fit a reversing camera to a 2016 caddy. I've check as much as I can online and can't find anything except for a company in Austraila. I have seen some people have done it but I can't find a parts list or any detailed info. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I too would be interested for a gen 4, not sure if there is much difference. I have seen cheapo camera's on ebay but not sure if they will link up.
It would be good to know of a cheaper source for genuine camera's too.

I have the discover headunit so would be good to be able to link it up to that.

parts can be find in Etka , simple compare Caddy with T6 or latest Sharan / Tiguan/Jetta/ who use this same radio

I installed one original camera for discover media. The total cost was 136 EUR. (camera 75 EUR+ wires 60 EUR) I ordered it on this site: http://www.vwmodul.de/. It works well.

Here's a thought for you all. I mounted a 120deg camera in the rear door on the glass (double-sided tape with a hole in the middle for the lens). I wired it in to the right hand side up to behind the drivers seat. I mounted an LCD screen on the load board, in the centre looking forward. I ran battery to the wiring behind the drivers seat for the cam and the monitor. Now, when I look in the rear view mirror I see OUTSIDE the rear windows in the LCD screen, not THROUGH the rear windows. Rear view and reversing (without warnings of course). I also have a tennis ball hanging in the garage that I back up onto, until it rests against the glass opposite the lense. Cost - all second hand from wherever.

For the tailgate caddy only I believe. I don't recall ever seeing a factory reversing camera on a wing door caddy.

This is oe part. Fits the barn door without buying the extra handle as you just need to cut it.

For those after a budget option i have just fitted a £38 kit from Amazon.

Put the camera just above the number plate on barn doors. I added a switch on the dash as like to see behind sometimes when not reversing. Its just as clear on the included screen as one i fitted to a motorhome that cost over £200.

Bargain at that price.

I’ve done mine, as long as you have discovery Media. OEM style interface, which does need coding with VCDS, this supplies a ignition and reverse feed (so no need to find reverse wire in back)£85.00 and small camera that needs a hole drilled in number plate plinth £30.00
