Suspension

Post by LeeH »

My Caddy seems to be on the soft side compared to my old T230 connect. That has 200K on the clock when I got rid last week.

Can it be firmed up a little? :?:

Caddys are soft... This is why I fitted coilovers with adjustable damping so I could set them as firm as I wanted

I carry sea sickness pills in mine, the damping control is a joke! My mud flaps make contact with the ground if you are traveling at 40-50 mph on some A-B roads and the van hits an undulation and gets a nodding fit!

Tried keeping up with a billy base connect last night and had no chance, it was gone!

I don't think my old connect rear leafs ever moved over bumps. I like the nodding fit description :D

Thanks all...no cheap fix then.

Have you a link to the coil overs?

My connect was a great van and I would have bought another if they didnt suffer from Turkish tin worm so badly...

Bump for a cheap way to stiffen the old girl up a little.

Change the rear springs?
