Bumpers?

Hi I'm new to this forum, been looking at doing my caddy up once and for all. I'm wondering if any bumpers fit straight on apart from the touran bumper? Golf gti maybe? Or would that need plastic welding etc. Also if any of you know what is a good Diesel engine conversion for a caddy (56plate) I've seen an fr conversion. Is there much to it? Any advise appreciated guys
