I think it depends on the model or options with the caddy 4 because there is a new one over the road which has the old shape mirrors on it.

Re: Door Mirrors Not Isometrical.
My 2016 Caddy Maxi has the different sized mirrors too - its probably only the Caddy Life / Kombi Versions that come with isometric mirrors with the brushed steel mirror caps unfortunately!

Not to be THAT guy but isometric is either an exercise or a 3d drawing, you mean asymmetrical.

On Tapatalk go to the first page of the thread and click the 3 dots in top right corner. Should give you the option to edit the topic title.

Re: Door Mirrors Not Isometrical.
Hi,
my 2004 ex-post caddy also has these odd shaped mirrors. When i first realised that i wondered why.
I must say that the mirror design is most useful when you are driving on the other side of the road. I'm from Germany and the van is left-hand-steered. About a month ago i've been to the UK, going to the Northwest, the Lake District, and on my way back through Wales and Cornwall (3500km on the whole). I loved the mirrors as they are because they fit to any situation as well as possible.
Additionally, especially the right one is working fine when you are using a motorway (Autobahn) or dual carriage way.

Yep, you're right . I meant the mirrors are asymmetrical. I'll get my coat!
