102 1.6 Injector Fail advice

Hi boys just looking for some advice with my faulty caddy.

I've had a reading on an Auto Logic diagnostic of: 9838 Cylinder 2 injector circuit.

I've never responded or acted on the emissions recall letters, so it is as standard. Were they not at one point recalling for full injector replacement + their emissions change?

Has anyone had anything in terms of goodwill for anything older than 3 years? It just seems a joke that injectors are failing on me at under 80K.

I'm just really at a loss at what to do next? How much should I be looking at for parts and labour? Should I do all 4 or just the faulty one?

Have you had the recall done lately? If so a visit to the dealers for diagnosis.when they confirm injector fault they should automatically contact be for goodwill. If they say no then you will need to contact vw and put in a complaint. Hay presto they will do the injector for free.

I haven't had the update. I have heard so many bad things about the update I'd rather not have it.

Anyone else been in this predicament?
