Will they fit?

Post by Jonnyfox882 »

I have a set of 18" BBS CH alloys which are 5x120 18x8j, ET35 offset fitted width 225/35/18 and 225/40/18 and was wondering will they fit straight onto my 2013 2.0 highline caddy?

Your caddy is a 5x112 PCD so these won't be a straight fit.
With PCD adaptors, ET35 will become at least ET20 which will poke far too much from the arch.

As doc says i can vouch for this made same mistake bought a set of rims of a bmw 5x120 didnt realise the et was at the limit. Thinest adapters i could find were 20mm which put the wheel out of the arch by a good inch and half. I reckon et was around 30-35. I now have a et of 40 sits pretty well. There is a section on here about wheels and working out et sure of it pal.

If you can find a 5mm set that are hub centric have a go mate only obe true way to know. Post pics so we can all see how a sliding door fouls on a over sized wheel ✌

5mm spacers won't fix the difference in distance between the holes. You need PCD adaptors for that and before fitting the adaptor your offset is already too low.
