Fiamma F35 on Caddy Maxi roof bars?

I do a lot of weekend events and am sick of lugging around an ezup, has anyone got any advice for sticking a Fiamma cassette awning onto roof bars on my Caddy Maxi Life? I'm aware of the roof rack adaptors but wonder how suitable an idea this is & what length F35 I could go up to? I reckon a 300 is too long but would prefer 270 which is 110 longer than the maximum distance between roof bars.

If you can find my post which i did showing versions of our caddy as a camper you will see that we use an ARB awning which is similar to the Fiamma roll out awning except a lot cheaper.

It attaches to the Thule roof bars and is 2.4m long. With the awning room attached it gives us a room of 2.4mx2.4m. Total cost for the roll-out awning and awning room was around £450.
