Why did my engine management light come on ,yellow thing lol ,switched off the van an now all clear ,it did go into limp mode :oops:

It probably needs a diagnostic test to find the fault. Call in to a VW garage and they will run some tests.

Had same fault on mine. When I plugged in the bluetooth OBD2 adapter, Torque app pointed to a MAF sensor fault. When I took a look the clip securing the intake to the air filter was not fully on so leaking in air. It felt fine to drive, couldn't tell there was a problem apart from yellow warning. Easiest fix I've ever done lol. Hope you have the same sort of luck., if you're finding it intermittent it could be bad connection at sensor, needs cleaning, or perhaps sign of sensor breaking down. Worth taking connector off/on to wipe contacts if it happens again.
