Just (2 days ago) I bought an ex BG 102 Caddy maxi, and I've had (probabaly) an injector failure after just 208 miles. It's a low mileage (31k) 2011, I'm not a big VW fan to be honest (probably sacrilege on here) but there was various factors that lead to the purchase.
I was aware of "fragile" injectors and got 12 months warrenty with the van. Although the dealer is being semi co-operative "yeah,we can fix it or we'll pick it up, refund & call it quits (I want more than my money back if I reject the vehicle, I'm looking for a contribution for the ball ache, aggravation of costs already incurred and additional costs that will now be incurred let alone the work I'm going to lose on Friday and Saturday....)
What I am interested in is this, are the replacement injectors as fragile as the old ones or are they an improved version?
If it's shit out and shit in I'm not seeing much point in keeping it
Many thanks in advance to anyone who can shed some light, though I need to make up my mind quickly
Replacement injectors
