OK, be gentle, I'm new....

Recently purchased a MY2010, built Dec09, Maxi 1.9, used, from a dealer. No history of the vehicle was forthcoming, save for (a) it had regular church going habits on Sundays, and (b) somehow they had lost the service record.
As I browse through this forum I notice some nuances in mine compared to some others.
I have:
A lift up tail gate,
Fixed tinted glass in the passenger door and passenger load compartment,
Small cup holder/trinket consoles behind each of the sliding side doors to the wheel arches,
Lining on the sides; only to the waist level on the drivers side which has no window, but also the roof.

Does this sound like a variant with a particular name to you aficionados?

Please be warned there are likely to be more "what's this for?" and "what's that do?" questions as I delve deeper into my new joy.....

Mine came with patchy service history, I called vw UK commercial and they were very helpful, they could tell me the vw dealers it went to for servicing and even sent me out a covering letter with all the info on
