After all this vmaxx talk, think one of the front springs has broken driving home tonight, that’s what it looks like anyway, will have to check it out in the morning! 7 months and 5000 miles. Aaarrgh :(

Good job they come with a 2 year warranty.
Pity they won't just send you a replacement to get back on the road, they'd rather stare at the broken part for two weeks and try and come up with some reason for not covering it under their warranty.

It’s amazing how short sighted these company’s are. They must believe that like minded enthusiasts don’t discuss quality of products a customer service.

They've had the same level of customer service so long as I've known of the brand and that's almost 8 years. The "warranty" is something people often consider when buying but when it comes to making a claim it is often more headache than it is worth to follow up the warranty claim and people end up buying another kit just for parts.
A good point to remember is that YOUR warranty is with YOUR supplying dealer and not V-Maxx. It is up to YOUR supplying dealer to follow up with V-Maxx and deal with their glacial type pace regarding such claims.
I know several dealers have dropped the brand because of this, make of that what you will.

Just for a different view, I've got gaz rear dampers and these come with a 2 year warranty, I noticed near the end of the warranty that one was weaping so called gaz and they turned them around in a few days

I bought them from a firm called Retrofication. I have just emailed them, no phone number on their website. The kit was shipped from a firm in Wellingborough called The Performance Company (UK Vmaxx distributors I believe). These happen to be 15 minutes away from my house. I have asked Retrofication by email if they can contact The Performance Company and I could take the spring to them for replacement rather than have to mess about posting the spring and waiting for a replacement.
I’ll see how it goes and let you all know the outcome.

You might have some success if TPC will speak to you face to face. They have some strange policies on who they deal with.

Im going to go over to them in the morning anyway. I’ve got the delivery note from them to Retrofication with my name on it so hopefully with a bit of luck they will listen and if I haven’t heard back from Retrofication by then TPC will have a number for them and hopefully can sort it.
Fingers crossed 🤞
