Vw motorsport wheels are my favourite wheel... If I dropped on a set one day I might be tempted to go back to 19"

Zito 935 Alloy Wheels Set Of 4 19x8.5 Inch ET45 5x112 PCD 73.1mm Centre Bore Gloss Black
Apart from spigot rings the above wheels should fit with 225/35/19 tyres with a 97 load rating ?

I've added a photo of mine to show the height I run on a daily basis

Re: Opinions on 18’s vs 19’s
Ricksy,
I fitted a vmaxx kit to my maxi and to be honest wouldn’t recommend it. I run 19’s and and it hasn’t been straight forward but I’m nearly there. The vmaxx cost 400 quid, wasn’t low enough and put the rear wheels well out of centre. Have a look at my thread “face-lift maxi axle relocation and lowering” I’ve just bought a set of Gaz adjustable rear shocks at a further 150 quid, not fitted them yet but hopefully all will be good. Also needed centralising plates which would have been a further cost if I hadn’t modified the vmaxx ones. Fronts were fine by the way.
I think my point is think carefully before you decide on what suspension you buy. Not necessarily better to buy the complete kit like I did, compared to sourcing all the components individually.
Good luck and 19’s is the way to go
Gee

Re: Opinions on 18’s vs 19’s
Hi if that thread is in a locked section I won’t be able to read it just yet, Iv requested my access is upgraded now so soon hopefully, I think I will shell out the extra money for the dark side kit with either the gaz or Bilstein Do you think I will need centralisation plates with that kit as well ?
My next thing is tyres, finding 35 profile load rated tyres is challenging, do you know what the lowest load rating should be. I can work it out later I just keep forgetting to check the axel weight sticker lol.

Normal v-Maxx is shit... just pay a bit more ... the xxtreme version from v-Maxx is good under a Caddy and the struts are nessesary in front.

Re: Opinions on 18’s vs 19’s
Struggling to find 19’ with the correct load rating for the back of a caddy maxi, do you guys make sure the load is correct ? Needs a load rate of 93 or more for the rear I worked out. Finding that in a 225 or 235 35 isn’t going well. Might have to wuss out and get 18”s
