Front coilover strut size?

Post by Caddycole »

So I've just bought some coilovers that were removed from a mk5 golf. They are Jom blueline and with the sleeve that fits around the bottom measures 52mm in diameter. My current strut on my van measures about 54mm and by what I've read they are either 50 or 55mm? Where is the cut off point? Sorry for the noob questions. Cheers 👍🏼

I am sure they only come in 50mm and 55mm so I’d say you van is 55mm being the closest...

Yeah that's what I've been reading but both coilovers strut and original are in between, guess ile have to line them up and see what it fits like if too much play possibly get a sleeve made up or something along those lines
