Re: Caddy Headlights
You could use headlights of a Touran 1T3. They have H7-bulbs and much better light on street.
Coding is required because with standard H4-bulbs driving light shuts off while high-beam is on.

I've just put Osram Night Breaker Unlimited lamps in the head lights for my 15' plate Caddy. Defiantly a whiter light over stock lamps, which I guess makes it look brighter.

Halfords GE 150% wait till they are buy 1 get 1 free. Every 3 4 weeks or so. Think yours are H4 bulbs.

Re: Caddy Headlights
My original 2012 caddy lights were H7 bulbs. They were really terrible even with upgraded bulbs. That's why I ended up getting custom made bi-xenon's (built into Touran bodies). They were pretty dangerous IMO those original stock caddy lights when you're down a dark country lane.

Totally agree. That’s why I’m getting new lights being made and fitted on the 9th.

I don't find them that bad compared to my old truck, they were like a pair of candles in comparison

Re: Caddy Headlights
The Caddys which have been retrofitted with Touran headlights and not had the proper coding are downright dangerous. When you put the headlights on, you get practically nothing on the road and all up in the air.
One main reason I put off getting Touran headlights until the coding problem was cracked.

Thanks for the reply, I tend to agree with Doc though, don't really want to swap until coding issues are sorted. The terrible light issue isnt exclusive to Caddys though has exactly the same if not worse issues with my T5 & 5.1

Bi-Xenon retrofit. Best headlights on any car I've driven. Expensive, but totally worth it, like night and day (har har) compared to the originals.

The coding is sorted to retrofit touran headlights.
I did this to my 2012.

Re: Caddy Headlights
took nearly 2 years to find the right caddy with bi xenons well worth it. also the factory sometimes set the headlights low as mine were low when it went for MOT.
