So I've done 650 miles and can confirm I've had no further issues (touch wood) they won't come back..

Scanner turned up last week and it works fine despite it saying in the ad that it wasn't compatible with vans, only noticed it once I'd ordered it.
So if anything happens I will update this thread but I'm hoping with the spare injector and the scanner I should be ok

I've got a scanner on the way so I'll do the same if an injector goes (fingers crossed I won't have to!)

Blimey it would be a great thing if this sorted a lot of these problems out,I wonder how many have been changed out that maybe never needed changing. After reading you’re post I also bought the same one of eBay so thanks for that and hopefully you have many more miles trouble free 👍

Scanner hasn’t worked for me, sat on M6 waiting recovery. It does reset the fault but it comes back straight away, hoping recovery bloke can fit my new injector and get me back on the road.

You keep it plugged in, and you have to keep resetting the fault some four or five times before the beaut kicks back in. This way has worked on two separate occasions now

I did it about 40 times, kept coming back straight away. It cleared it once and I got about 100 mtrs and packed in, couldn’t clear it again. It’s now at the mechanics, hopefully he can swap the injectors so I can get back to work. Think the fault code was P0204 so looks like injector no4

Another month and another injector fails F**K!

Tried to clear the fault but it comes back immediately :evil:

Booked in this afternoon for it to be sorted so hopefully back on the road for another injector to fail in a few weeks :twisted:

You need to have your engine running, plug in the reader and keep pressing reset / clear fault this should take a couple of goes... you may need to also rev the engine at the same time as I have done this on my friends skoda and again the other morning on my no1 injector issue that suddenly flagged up.
