Not worked it out, but it's bloody good. It'll be a great shame to see it go if I can't tune and dpf delete.

Much better than mine £25 @ £1.20 and I get 180 miles mixture of town and A road I'd better start saving for a remapMaverick58 wrote:£20 @£1.20L returned me 196 miles, 60mph lightfoot all motorway miles.

It’s ace to read such great mpg from 1.6 as from the morning the non turbo partner will be fully shelved and put for sale.
Bullet proof engine but quite thirsty and very much a story of hare and tortoise.

I get between 550 and 600 to a tank and mine is lowered, roof bars, seats in the back etc. i do mostly motorway milage, round town and the B roads i would say just under 500 mile. Mine is the bluemotion so might be a little bit better because of that

Did you notice a massive difference with the remap, would you mind sharing the cost of this, I have an ex BG Van and I am interested in a remap

On this note, I've got a 102 Highline and I can't seem to scroll through MPG data like I can on my Transporter is that right?

Around 50 +\- 2 on the MFD.
DPF EGR and map made no difference. Goes better though.
The caddy new 2.0 I had at work was much better than my BMT 1.6.

Done my first calculation since the limiter was raised to 190kph and the Ex BG racking was removed and I've jumped to a quite considerable 46mpg up 6mpg, I'm guessing mostly down to not hauling the weight around in the back but since the limiter was raised i no longer have the cold start issues I had before either.

Yeah noticeable difference, was 300 quid and in my opinion worth the money, shifts along nicely now.Midgleyj wrote: Did you notice a massive difference with the remap, would you mind sharing the cost of this, I have an ex BG Van and I am interested in a remap

Seems the 1.6 TDI is very economical compared to my 1.9 tdi, I rarely get any better than 35-36mpg, but most my driving is in the city.

Re: 1.6tdi 102hp what's your AVG mpg
2011 ex BG with 130k on the clock on normal supermarket diesel.
Around town I currently max out at around 37mpg, but this is short journeys of around 10-20 mins max.
However just did a drive from Portsmouth to Doncaster with a full load of PA for a gig, with a detour via Bath and I managed to get 600 miles from the tank and after a refuel (60.5l) it worked out at 45mpg. That was cruising at around 75/80 and around 30 miles crawling in traffic.
Just a shame the majority of my work is local and around town.

Drove 400 miles yesterday from Scotland to Essex and reset trip at start of journey, average consumption 39.5mpg! Cruise at 70mph for most of the way 1.6 DSG, carrying hardly any weight. Standard sized wheels and tyres too.
