Touran Seats
Hi all,
Can anyone tell me whether it's only the passenger front seat that folds forward in to a table, or does the driver's seat do it too?
Thanks.

Passenger only Dan. Only way round it is a lhd passenger seat.
Iโm currently on the hunt, easy enough to find on eBay Germany depending on your trim match but not cheap and postage is an issue!

Do you have to remove the headrest from the driver's seat before folding it forward?

Yes it has to be fully down and back, headrest out and steering wheel in and up.
My seats are on touran bases as well.
Give me loads more room.
Just need to design and build a bed now.

Re: Touran Seats
Yeah itโs horses for courses as always. I really fancied some nice seats but the folding option did it for me.
You can get nicer trim, leather and cloth upto 2015 but hard to find and cost a wee bit.

Re: Touran Seats
I wanted mk2 tt seats but this folding option is a bit to good I have been torn between keeping the bulkhead or not so no bulk head and touran seats or keep it and TT seats.

Re: Touran Seats
Most likely Iโd only use the folding seats a few times a year but enjoy the idea of it being an option, although I could live without and be perfectly happy. Maybe just see what comes up decent price when the time comes..

Yeah I must admit not used it yet but come summer it will be a god send.
Good luck whatever you do pal. But if you want a folding driver seat just look on eBay Germany.

Re: Touran Seats
Oh yes, folding seats to get me bed chair in the back with plenty of room. The only reason I got the caddy was for fishing but the problem is the caddy has become my main hobby now and donโt have much time to fish
If I pull my finger out tomorrow and get it back together I might get out for a night before close season comes.
