BG rear windows

Finally started a bit of work on my 61 plate ex BG Maxi.. there’s a steel protection plate covering the rear windows. I thought it was going to be tinted behind it, but it’s just black. It looks like a film that can be peeled off, but I’m going to assume that if I try that it’ll ruin it? Maybe to have windows, I need to replace the glass? Any one had experience with this?

I've done mine, It peels off easily enough mate. I'll be tinting mine very soon though, it's not a good look clear.

Cheers Zak, Yeah I'll want to tint mine too, how do you get between the metalwork and the glass though? I've tinted before, but it was an old van, and i completely removed the windows.
